When you use SpeechPilot, we process:

• Speech inputs: Occasion, stories, names, and preferences you provide to generate your speech.
• Payment data: Processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type (for rate limiting and security only).

3. How We Use Your Data

• Generate your personalized speech using AI (Anthropic Claude).
• Process your payment via Stripe.
• Prevent abuse (rate limiting, fraud detection).

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any other purpose.

4. Data Retention

• Unpaid sessions: Deleted within 2 hours.
• Paid sessions: Deleted within 24 hours.
• Payment records: Minimal logs (amount, date, status) retained for accounting as required by law.
• Operational metrics: Aggregated technical logs (no speech content), up to 90 days.

5. Operational Metrics

To monitor service quality (latency, error rates, token usage), we retain aggregated technical logs for up to 90 days. These logs never contain your speech inputs, stories, names, or generated speech — only the speech type, duration, status code, and AI token counts. This data is used exclusively for internal monitoring.

6. Third-Party Services

7. Your Rights (GDPR)
